How to get rid of your anxiety

“Change is hard at first, messy in the middle, and gorgeous at the end.”

– Robin Sharma

Stop stressing

The biggest reason people struggle with anxiety is because they have an underlying belief that they are incapable of handling challenges they may face in the future.

It may be getting a job…buying your first house or even committing to a relationship.

These BIG STEPS you take in life present a change.

We all know change is scary.

But do you know what’s even scarier?

Living out a year of your life only to realise at the end of that year you are in the exact same place you were 12 months ago.

Change is good

That anxiety you feel…you can deal with it in two ways:

  1. You can keep wallowing in inaction and let the problem fester.

  2. You can take action and actually change the situation causing you anxiety.

It’s a simple choice.

But so many people can’t make it…why?

You need to build trust with yourself.

We can do this with 3 simple steps:

  1. Understand that you have handled every challenge you have faced so far - what’s stopping you from conquering this next issue? Use your past victories to fuel future success.

  2. MAKE A PLAN! Address the problem and understand the steps it will take to overcome your anxiety-inducing issue.

  3. TAKE ACTION - don’t get stuck at step 2! Over-analysing will only worsen the problem. You can’t think your way out of anxiety - to solve a mental problem you need to get out of your head and into your body. Start even if you don’t feel ready, the solution will unfold as you make progress.

Externalise your issues to make them more manageable.

No one is coming to save you but you can certainly save yourself.

As always you have my support.

I am here to progress with you each step of the way.

Yours sincerely
